- Con esta acción formativa se pretende por un lado dar una Formación Oficial regulada, para la obtención del carné de aplicador de productos fitosanitarios expedido por la Consejería de Medio Rural para todas aquellas personas que utilizan estos productos en el ámbito de la agricultura, ganadería, jardinería, etc… ya que es un requisito imprescindible en el desarrollo de su actividad laboral y por otro lado que los usuarios conozcan que el empleo de los productos fitosanitarios, comúnmente conocidos como plaguicidas, implica una serie de riesgos que deben ser minimizados al objeto de preservar el medio ambiente y la salud de agricultores y consumidores.
- Esta formación también es útil y necesaria para los no profesionales que poseen huertos familiares y jardines domésticos que emplean productos fitosanitarios de uso doméstico para utilizarlos de una manera racional y sostenible logrando así una alimentación más saludable y una mayor protección del medio ambiente.
Programa contenidos
PROGRAMA CURSO OFICIAL NIVEL BÁSICO (SEGÚN ANEXO IV DEL NUEVO REAL DECRETO 1311/2012 según ANEXO IV)
- Plagas de los cultivos: clasificación y descripción.
- Productos fitosanitarios: clasificación y descripción. Importancia y contenido de las etiquetas y de las fichas de datos de seguridad: Clasificación y etiquetado. Pictogramas, palabras de advertencia, frases de riesgo o indicaciones de peligro, consejos de prudencia, síntomas de intoxicación y recomendaciones para el usuario. Casos prácticos.
- Riesgos derivados de la utilización de productos fitosanitarios para el medio ambiente. Medidas para reducir dichos riesgos, incluyendo medidas de emergencia en caso de contaminaciones accidentales. Buenas prácticas ambientales en relación a la preservación de los recursos naturales, biodiversidad, flora y fauna. Protección y medidas especiales establecidas en la Directiva Marco del Agua (Directiva 2000/60/CE). Eliminación de envases vacíos. Casos prácticos.
- Peligrosidad de los productos fitosanitarios para la salud de las personas: Riesgos para el consumidor por residuos de productos fitosanitarios. Manera de evitarlos y medidas de emergencia en caso de contaminaciones accidentales. Concepto de seguridad alimentaria.
Riesgos para la población en general.
Riesgos para el aplicador: Intoxicaciones y otros efectos sobre la salud. Prácticas de primeros auxilios.
Estructuras de vigilancia sanitaria y disponibilidad de acceso para informar sobre cualquier incidente o sospecha de incidente.
- Medidas para reducir los riesgos sobre la salud: Niveles de exposición del operario. Posibles riesgos derivados de realizar mezclas de productos. Medidas preventivas y de protección del aplicador. Equipos de protección individual.
- Prácticas de identificación y utilización de EPIS.
- Secuencia correcta durante el transporte, almacenamiento y manipulación de los productos fitosanitarios.
- Métodos de control de plagas, incluyendo los métodos alternativos. Tratamientos fitosanitarios. Preparación, mezcla y aplicación.
- Métodos de aplicación de productos fitosanitarios. Factores a tener en cuenta para una aplicación eficiente y correcta.
- Equipos de aplicación: descripción y funcionamiento.
- Limpieza, mantenimiento e inspecciones periódicas de los equipos.
- Practicas de aplicación de tratamiento fitosanitario.
- Relación trabajo-salud: normativa sobre prevención de riesgos laborales.
- Métodos para identificar los productos fitosanitarios ilegales y riesgos asociados a su uso. Infracciones, sanciones y delitos.
